The HOA may seem high but it includes all outside maintence, includes roof repair or replacement, grounds care, pest control for outside of unit, any painting or repair of exterior of building and all insurance including windstorm. Liability for anything happening outside of your unit. You would need to get insurance for the inside of your home. You are responsible for pest control inside and any repairs needed inside.
