It was constructed in 1985 originally in Corolla as an Oceanfront, but later found its current home Canalside on Carova Beach. The top floor of the home overlooks the oak trees with views of the canal from multiple locations. It was designed with a wedge shape to protect against hurricane winds, which are meant to swoop over the building. The top floor of this iconic home contains the living room, dining room, kitchen with a ladder leading to the loft space, which can be utilized as flex space. The house features 5 balconies, a large electric fireplace, set in custom wood paneling, skylights, and an entirely unique layout. The design of this house is original and unique yet easily transformed into a contemporary house plan. The current owners have lovingly infused their style into this home, its furnishings, and artwork making it truly one of a kind.
